Bring extra cash for Duckies (gets us EVERY time) It is my kids most favorite thing to do- bike to the farmstead and buy fruits and little pieces of bazooka gum. LOVE the new stone sites! (great drainage and keeps the sand out of your rig) Bring your bikes! So easy biking to all the places we want to visit. but the friendly neighbors were willing to move their trucks so we could cut the turn. It was a bit tight in new stone areas for backing in our rig. but if you are looking for the QUIETEST, CLEANEST, and BEST location in Cape May, then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a lot of on-site activities, this might not be the place for you.

(it made us feel welcome) FOLLOW THE RULES and you will have a great time. I love that they are very accepting of children with special needs. This is our 4th stay with Travel Depot and we LOVE it here. We are a family of 8 who are frequent flyers to Cape May. Also-bring a WiFi booster because the WiFi tends to be weak during peak times of the day/evening. We had rain during one of our stays this year and recommend that campers bring tarps and bungie cords for securing stuff left outside. This is a good thing and not to be taken for granted. But no worries if you're on the beach most of the day! Campers (adults and kids) walk their dogs and enjoy their bikes and scooters in safety as the 5 mile a hour speed limit is constantly put forth by the staff. Staff will help you with shade/no shade when you book your site if you ask and book early enough to get shade. Seasonal rigs are decked out with flowers and there are ample trees to provide shade for some but not all campsites. The campsites are not as spacious as those at state parks, but we're able to use our BBQ and fire pit in the evening and feel very comfortable in the quiet environment. We chose to come back each time because we can walk or bike to the beach (one mile) a couple of times a day or more, combining exercise with "chilling" in our beach chairs with our Kindles. We stayed at this campground at least twice during the summer this year and then again in mid-September.
